Last summer we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of one of our 2 Directors! Ms. Pauline Rondeau has been providing this leadership on behalf of Camp Claret in collaboration with its founder and Director, Father Carmel Lerma, to help children learn, grow and have fun. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that Camp Claret wants to recognize in a special way during the summer her outstanding achievement and contribution to the camp during these 50 years.
In addition to an intense personal involvement at Camp Claret, through her Foundation, she has been providing funding and support to children of all walks of life so that they too may reap the benefits of a two-week summer camp experience.
Through her passionate work and with the involvement of many wonderful team members, children are safe, secure, healthy, active and happy. They develop friendships that last a lifetime. Moreover, guided and supported by caring leaders who are excellent role models, campers are encouraged to be co-operative, caring, tolerant and respectful – qualities which benefit them beyond camp. They also learn to become more independent and self-confident, they develop leadership skills and acquire an appreciation and respect for nature.
